Yeah, a nice place for you and thousands of other people to hang out. Brilliant idea!

What time does the water show start?

Yeah, if it has free beer, the lounge is a good idea. Otherwise, forget about it.

If there will still be a season pass lounge? Was there one in the past?

There was when I went last summer.
I never heard of such a thing.

Believe it or not, there was a Season Pass Holder's "Lounge" last summer at SFWoA. It was located in the Beachcomber Restaurant (inside Hurricane Harbor) and offered discounted drinks and food. I never went in there for the exact reason Jeff mentioned. When most of your business is from season pass holders, I would hardly consider it an "exclusive" place to hang out.

Sort of like early entrance at CP with Joe Cool and Resorts.

Since so many people enter early with Joe Cool, or as resort guests, the early entrance to me just means I can get in line a half hour earlier. On opening day in 2003, this was a huge perk, because my wait for dragster was only about 2 hours. People not staying in the resorts or having Joe Cool had to wait much longer that day.

Just opening day made the $15 worth it!

Now if someone else wants to get this thread back on topic...

Anytime I visited the season pass lounge in the past two years (especially the first year), there was hardly anyone in it. I don't think a lot of people knew about and they didn't really "advertise" it.

The problem I found with it was it was inside the waterpark, so it was only open when the waterpark was open and the food selection was more of the snack variety rather than a meal variety.

Still, it was empty, air-conditioned, and the drinks were cheaper than out in the main park. So when it was open, it was ok to duck into for a few minutes on a hot day...

Agreed.
It would be nice to see the return of the Season pass holder's lounge, since they aren't offering us any kind of discounts this year in the park.

Yeah, being that they never really advertised it was there, it never got very busy. I think it would be nice to bring back, but I'm not to sure that CF will get into that sort of thing.

I just remembered that I'm absent minded
Wait, I mean I've lost my mind, I can't find it

I doubt it...CF's point of view (from the last quarterly call) is that the season pass already presents a sizeable discount in itself. So I don't see them tacking more discounts too.

...and they're exactly correct. I didn't mind the lounge, but let's be honest, there's no need for it.
