Season Pass Funperks at KI

(Let me preface this by saying I'm sorry if this has been known and/ or discussed at an earlier date.)

So I went over to KI Central and happened onto a thread topic about Season Pass benefits were coming to the park. Someone posted the link, so curious, I followed that link and ended up at the FunPerks website. Now at first glance, it appears to be good only for KI Gold Pass members (vs. Platinum which my family is), but when I typed in my information, I was signed up and received my first 'perk'- free drink wristbands.

Now, I'm not going to profess any knowledge about point accumulations, if it tallies points from visits to other CF parks, etc.. heck, I don't even know if the wristbands will work. Just thought I would put it out there, and if anyone knows anymore about this program that he/she could share, that would be great.
Here's the link in case anyone was curious:

P.S.- I know some people were having a little difficulty with the site, but it worked fine for me.

^I don't know any more than you do but I saw this too, I hope it is implemented at Cp also. I think there was something on this site a few days or a week ago about the park monitoring purchases through passes. I will be signing up for this if possible and maybe it will work at the Point when we are there next week. If not it should work when we reach KI later next month.

Edit: I just entered my son and I's Platinum Passes # and it worked for me with Drink Wristbands also.

I (unsuccessfully) tried finding this before my visit to the park last weekend. I was there Fri, Sat & Sun and bought several items. Not a single employee asked if I was in the program or asked to swipe my card. Having just signed up, it appears as if I would have received back credit. It knows I've been to the park 3 times. Unfortunately, I probably won't be back much more, if at all, this year.

I wonder if their not promoting this yes because it's still in the testing phase. It's cool that just be signing up you get a free all day drink wristband. That would have been very nice last weekend as it was quite warm and very muggy.

It was mentioned to me at the Rivertown Junction Dining Hall, but that was the only place I heard anything about this.

Well I tried the link this morning, and it doesn't work. I don't know if this is temporary or not...
Assuming that nothing changes with the program, it appears that it truly only records activity within KI ( since my visits were listed as 0, even though I was at CW on Sunday). I know this is in the beginning of the testing phase, but I wish this program could apply to all CF parks, since my family will be visiting five of them this year.

I'm sure this will be rolling out to all the Cedar Fair parks eventually. It looks like KI is just going to be the test park like DA. Very cool though...I wish I had the free drinks wrist band last weekend as well! Also, the rewards you earn appear to be awesome, like:

Free fast lane passes, free drink bands, discounts off a 2013 pass, and free park tickets. This is exactly the kind of thing I wanted to see for passholders; hopefully it's executed well.
