Season Pass Certificate

Can you not buy a season pass certificate on Cedar Points website?
I was under the impression you could, and then redeem it at the season pass center there, guess not. I'm going tomorrow, so is my only option to buy and do the paper work there and then get my photo ID? Does anybody know how long this process usally takes? Thanks.

They took the season passes off their website when the season started.
