I came across a photo of a ride from to 40's/50's called Yankee Bullet. I've searched in all of the places I can think of for information on it, but I can't find anything other than the fact that it was installed towards the end of the Boeckling era. Anybody have any info on this or know where to look?
Thanks in advance!

It's been a while since someone either told me about or showed me a ride I've never ehard of. Let alone one that was at Cedar Point.
Do you know who made it or what the ride did?

I have no idea who made it, or how it operated. I know that it was in the exact same spot as the Flying Skooters (right next to Noah's Ark), so it was there either before 1941 or after 1945. It even used the same name banner and fence.
I came upon a Sandusky History Blog that mentioned it and I was intrigued because I had never heard of it either. The book "Cedar Point: The Queen of American Watering Places" only mentions it once, and I can't find any other mentions on the internet. I was hoping the collective knowledge of the site knew a little about it.

Yankee Bullet opened in 1941. Not much, but there is a mention in this article from the Sandusky Register, as well as an ad for the 1941 season.
Thanks for the info Walt. That will help me out quite a bit.
Did you have that in your archives or what?
