Screensaver

Does anyone know where i can find a decent screensaver of cedar point?

I can create screen savers (more than just simple slide shows) from images or animated images that people have. If you have an idea of what you might like I may be able to do it. The last one I did was a floating grim reaper flying around the screen.

Fighter-X , what other screen savers do you think you could do? I have been looking for a good one but can not seem to find it. Do you think you could help me out?

I have created simple ones such as floating images, logos, etc. on a screen and slide show ones that show different pictures. I can do ones like these without much trouble. The ones that take more time are ones that require me to animate things. One of the ones I did involved using character animation from a video game (Marvel vs Street Fighter) If there already is an animation for me to use, it makes it easier. If I have to try and draw one, it can take a while. Anyway, for the CP ones I was thinking of using some of the POV videos for the different rides and trying to turn them into a screen saver. I was thinking of creating a separate one for each coaster. Of course, the CP web site has most of the videos in Quick Time format and I am more used to working with avi or mpegs. I'm going to work on trying to do the ride ones starting tonight.

If you have any ideas let me know. I can usually tell you whether or not I can do it.

Just to update whoever may be actually reading this (it does seem like I am talking to myself, but thats OK, I do it all the time).

I think I CAN take the POV videos from all the coasters, lump them together, and create a screen saver that will use your windows media player to play the different ones in a random order. I dont know how LARGE the file size may be. I've already succeeded with the MF video. I did cut out the wind sounds, as it seemed to annoy me but I can add sounds if requested.

I am using the quick time videos from CPs web site to do this. They arent the best quality, so if anyone knows where I can get better quality ones let me know.

You're absolutely correct. I thought of that after my last post. This is why I normally create them for people using videos or pictures they give me, and I do it for free. I am going to email CP and ask if I can use them. I expect them to say no.

I wonder now though about other CP videos I have seen from different sites. A lot of them have songs that are copyrighted. I wonder if they asked for permission from the owner of the song before distributing them with with their video.

Nope, those are copyright violations as well. Just because someone else does it doesn't make it right.

Well what about when Guide to the Point was in service. You had on-ride videos of Millenuim Force, Magnum, Meanstreak, and you also had promo videos for Raptor and Mantis. Did you get permission from CP. Cause if you did how did you do it because my friend wants to start a CP fan site, and would like some POV videos but in larger screen format.
