Screensaver

Cedar Point has put a screensaver on there website, which I think it is a good idea but I also think the quality of the screensaver could be better. As a graphic designer I just think a little more work could have been done on this. I like the flash part of the website on the screensaver and when the screensaver switches to night. But I think with the features of flash, there could of been so many more features. The pictures also could have been laid out better.

Sorry for the criticism of something as small as a screensaver but i just expect more out of a major company's graphics department. But as a note I still love there website.

Yes, I am in the process of making one right now. I started it as of June 22. As of right now it is about 20% finished. But it will take awhile for it to be finished because I need to get back to the park to take more pictures because of lack of access of pictures

I just downloaded them but I just have a small question how do you get the computer to play them. and yes i am aware that every Computer isd different. Thank You

Jon - Extract the .zip file using whatever you use (probably WinZIP), right-click>copy the file inside. Go to your C:\WINDOWS or C:\WINNT folder (probably windows) and paste it there. Now go to control panel > display and activate it like a normal screensaver.

I agree, it could be fancier, but it's cool just having a CP screensaver anyways.

Dorney Park has had a screensaver for a long time, CP was due for something. This season is looking good for cedarpoint.com. First the ultra cool animated banner. Then the blog which is the best thing since the webcam and construction updates. Now more Online Fun features with the screensavers. We're so spoiled. :)

I like the look of the screen saver. They picked some great photos to put in there, especially the night version. I like how they incorporated the flash animation from the Web site banner too.

Um, yeah. I have been in and out of town. So I really have not had a chance to get much work down on it. But I will start working on it soon, so you can expect a update on it soon. Sorry for the delay.

I like the look of the screensaver too - however it really doesn't actually do any screen saving. For it to actually be saving your screen from burn-in the surrounding pictures should actually be changing too. Oh well.

Ask Stoner. He's been in and out of town for the past 12 years and he's needed time to get a good collection of pictures at the park, but maybe he's almost finished now?
