Screen Saver

Dose anyone know where I may get a 2003 season screen saver or at least a 2002, 2001, or 2000?

-Thanks!

You can save a bunch of pictures onto your hard drive and then use a "my pictures" screensaver. I use this system, and if you have some good pics it makes for a great screen saver.

Edit: I have Windows ME, and its not limited to just the "my pictures" folder. You can pick whatever folder you want, and set the size of the pictures, transition effects, and how often they switch.

mantis man,

I do beleive "My Pictures" is something unique to inferior computers (I mean Windows :)) With OS X, you can set it to use any photos you have in iPhoto, or have it show all the pictures in your your pictures folder on your home directory, or you can choose any folder you like.

Yes. Although I cannot comment on XP, "My Pictures" is gone in Win2K.

I have a screensaver that I made from pics that I took as well as pics collected from sites like CP.com and Virtual Midway. If it is okay with Jeff and Walt, I could post a link to it. I just don't want to tick anyone off. Is that something that is allowed?

It's OK if it is for your own, personal use. But, no, you can't share it with anyone.

That's what I figured, just wanted to make sure.

There are tons of free screensaver maker programs that are really good. Anyone can make their own with all the great pics on the different CP sites. The one I used was called '2flyer Screensaver Builder'. It's nice to have, keeps all your summer memories fresh!

I'm pretty sure your all wrong. Linux is better than all of those combined.

Anyways, there are programs you can search for or if you have Windows XP you can use the Mypictures folder and set it as a screensaver

I tried the my pictures thing and it did not work could anyone give me any advice? I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!

If you want, I could email the 2flyer screensaver program I used. It is shareware, it should be okay to do that. If your can receive large email attachments, the file is about 2 mb zipped.
