School science days

When schools are scheduled for science days at the park and the

weather report is calling for rain- do the schools cancel the day? Since

i am sure tickets are already paid for with no refund. The reason i am

asking is cedar point's sister park kings island has this day for friday

may 2nd and the weather is calling for showers and storms.

I think that would be the school's decision, I know the park won't turn them away, and in the packet that the schools get when they sign up they have a recommendation that you bring umbrellas and ponchos for such conditions.

you still show up but rides will be down

it is probably too late for the school to rescedual

Hope you went... I was up there for a few hours this morning, and it was relatively empty, even considering the schools. No more than a 1 cycle wait on anything that I saw.

Practically every weekday in May at CP is SOME school's Physics day. In May of 06 there was about 2 weeks of non-stop rain and that didn't stop the schools from coming. I'd imagine once they've invested the money and planning into going they're going to stick with it.

I did make the drive of four hours to be at the park for the weekend.

Fortunately, i had the whole weekend. At 4 pm, the rain came and did

not stop. The park closed early at 7pm. The was a mass exodus of

school buses leaving. I was certainly glad , i had saturday and sunday.
