school project help...

yes, I am interested in doing a school project on Cedar Point, and I was wondering if anyone could help me by posting links on this thread, such as old photos, video, etc. My friend and I were going to do a video presentation on the park, so you might see us going through the park with a camera and we might stop some of you for an interview. Could anyone send help?

If you're looking for old pictures and info, virtualmidway.com has a great history section that might be of help.

Hey Big D, you don't have to be rude about it either. I'd say go to the library and see if they have the book "Cedar Point: The Queen of American Watering Places" and the video "Cedar Point: A Summertime Tradition on Lake Erie." My library has them, maybe yours does, too. Also, the official CP web site has an extensive history section of it.

I'm doing a history paper on Hotel Breakers, and those are two sites I found some history on. Look at google.com for more sites or images for old CP, they have an image search on there also.

Back to the Breakers this summer - 2003! :)

The Discovery Channel ran a documentary on CP a couple of years back. I know they rerun it every so often, or you can buy it on video (or check the library, they might have it).

I attempted to do a project on Cedar Point, but could not find enough resource material. Roller coasters in general is what I went with. I still have the paper, and I got an A!

You mean to tell me www.cedarpoint.com,, www.virtualmidway.com, www.guidetothepoint.com, www.thepointol.com, www.themeparks.com, www.pointhype.com, and www.experiencethepoint.com didn't help you at all? Man, must have been one heck of a report you had to do.
