Ok I was thinking about looking in to a scanner and listen to the CP radios, but is there a certain distance you have to be from the park to get it? Thanks

Depends on the frequency, your antenna, the gain of your scanner, what kind of building/car you're in...a wild guess is 8 miles.

I live about 6 miles away and I pick up all the CP Scanner Channels. It's cool you can hear Park Opp, Maint., Security, Hotels, Foods, Traffic, and many other departments.
