Saw a fight inline for MF

My son and I were inline for MF......it was about 7:30 to 8 on Monday the 16th........I was curious if anyone else saw the fight or know what was the fight was about.......all I saw was one guy punh another then 5 guys or so jumped him then a slushie went flying and his wife took a few punches........then the CP police came and talked to them.....

They talked to them?

No arrests?

Ehhh, not a good look for CP.

A talk? I think cuffs around their wrists would do more then a talk...

Assault by Slushie!

At a minimum, that has to be a 3rd degree felony.

Was the guy who got hit with the slushy laying down on the DJ table?

What's this world coming to when amusement park queues arent safe for slushies?:)

Ehh.. Its not Cedar Points fault who comes to the park! They really can't control that.

Maybe they should ban slushies from all lines?

Wow! MF gets a lot of police officers in line! Quarters thrown at trains and now a fight. I am sure the guests got thrown out of the park. Based on what CP does to law breaking employees, I would hope CP takes some kind of action against the guests as well.

To me certain people just dont know how to behave in line,they think everything is a joke.

The guy that was jumped by the five guys walked out of the ride area with the cops.......the five guys were caught running just outside of the MF......it was time to ride so I did not get to see if anyone was taken ticketed

You know, this just makes me think of some of the more unfortunate things that happen.

I often stop line cutters, but sometimes I think twice about it. About 2 years ago, I saw someone "stop" 2 juvenile line cutters, only to be threatened by their "posse" once off the ride, who was waiting for them.

Add to this that their are consistently fewer and fewer employees (in my experience) watching the lines for bigger rides like MF, and security isnt always there when you need it, and you have a recipe for disaster.

I would pay an extra dollar or two for my season pass if I knew it went for 2 things:

1) A couple extra security guards to watch the "bigger rides" lines (which is where the problems are)

and 2) More employees watching the lines to talk to if something happens.

Perhaps the latter being more important than the former.

Sad.

That said, the culture of customers at Cedar point looks like a Martha Stewart show compared to Six Flags Great Adventure. The lines there were just downright frightening at times.

I wish they had a number or something that one could call and report line jumpers......but then that would get abused

I was in SF in Maryland and that is by far had the most line jumping going on....there were so many jumping lines everyone was nervous about reporting them......that is one park I will not visit again

Kings Island is really bad about line jumping too.

Also, one year they had some kind of Teen Dance club thing where they brought a popular DJ on each Friday Night for a month and used the Action Zone area to serve as a big dance club. That may have been the worst idea I've ever seen at a park. My brother was a police officer at the park and he despised it. Fights all over the place.

Are you serious? they really had a teenie-bopper dance club in the action zone at kings island?? What year was it when they had this? Gee I feel soooooo bad for your brother as a cop! I'm glad CP doesn't do this (thank god)!!

Speaking of people getting thrown out of the park. I was at the Breakers on June 25 sitting outside and saw a kid in his bathing suit and towel get hauled out by CP police ad handcuffed and put in a squad car. Then, they brought his stuff out, searched it and put his stuff in the car. The whole time the kid was yelling at the police. Anyone know what he might have done? Just curious.

Drugs? I think that would be a pretty safe guess.
