I am just curious to hear how many people were at the park today? What were some of the longest waits for those of you went? I am planning to head up to Cedar Point tomorrow and hoping not to find any lines more than half hour long.
I thought I heard that the attendence is kept to CP, and they don't release an actual count. I could be wrong though, they might give an estimate.
Attendance was relatively light (for a Saturday). I rode every coaster twice back-to-back. The Raptor, before they shut down because of the wind was 16 and 30 minutes. The Mantis was 36 and 32 minutes. I rode M.F. first thing in the morning but judging by the queue later in the day, the queue was down approximately from an hour early in the day to less than a half hour around 5PM. The Mine Ride was an entirely different story. One train operation; 49 minutes for one ride.
Attendance was light for a Saturday. Magnum was only 10 min wait. Waited 30 min for MF.
It was a fun day. Kind of on the cool side, but the re-ride factor was very cool. The only rides that ever had waits over 5-10 minutes was MF, Raptor (after it opened in the afternoon), the haunted houses, and Mantis in the middle of the day.
I think that the temperature kept a lot of people away, which was a good thing. I knew it was going to be a rather light crowd with there were less that 200 people at the gates when they opened.
