Glad to see xenophobia is still alive and well.

My friend that works at the POINT told me there was close to 55,000 at the Park. He wasn't able to get out of the Park till 3:00am.

I believe that, we had to wait close to 15 mins for two orders of fires on the main midway think it's called Mr. Potato. We left early to get back to the hotel and go to bed early so we were ready at for the ERT the next morning which started at 9am.

At 2:30 AM traffic was still moving slowly on Perimeter Road as the Soak City lot emptied.

Just crazy, those people who just had an all day, having to stay late late after the park closes.

I also have some pictures of the 10/9/2010 crowds. THIS picture speaks volumes.

WHAT? That's insane. I think I saw it hit 3/4 hour once the Saturday after 4th of July (definitely busier than 4th of July; easily one of the busiest days of the season) but the sheer volume of incoming guests waiting in the queue for the wait to be that long is just ridiculous.
I am assuming the Iron Dragon is still running 3 trains, so there is always 2 trains occupied by 28 people each. And it's only waht, like a minute and 15 seconds with load/unload? It might have gotten busier since I am sure there were a lot of kids there for Halloweekends
I used to get really excited when I got to open queues for the Iron Dragon, especially since it was almost never necessary. I think I opened queues for that ride maybe 3 times, and I know I closed one eventually soon after.

Pretty sure today was worse. Left around 9:30pm and Magnum still had a full queue as did most everything else. There was en employee parking ban, the lots were completely full, including Soak City, and they were parking people on the grass at the end of the chausee.

That's crazy! I looked at the webcam yesterday around 12:20pm and the lot looked empty, just the small section near Disaster Transport had cars parked.

We'll miss you MrScott and Pete

Yeah look at the line for TTD, the hole queue is filled up and the line is backed up towards the grandstand the the station. Talk about a long line!

There were reports of a traffic accident near 250 and I-80, which was apparently causing pretty horrendous traffic backups on the Turnpike. That may be why for as packed as the park was, many guests didn't arrive until well after the park opened.
