Sat. the 27th weather

I am planning on going to CP this Sat. the 27th. The weather forcast is that it will be in the 30s all day with a chance for snow. Is there a chance that CP will close that day?
Most likely the park won't close. I was there last year on Oct 15th and it was sleet, snow, raining (take your pick) with winds steady at about 10-15 mph.  There will probably be quite a few rides closed....but I'll be there.

Yeah I was kinda wondering what's gonna happen too, since I will be there.  I can't remember a day when it has been colder (of course I'm not as experienced as many around here).  If the weather does force them to close the park/some rides, it would be a good reason for them to ditch this extended schedule (into the last week of October) for next year.

The last update as of today..the 22nd...was the high for the day was going to be 47 partly cloudy..for both Sat and Sun..but the lows for the night were going to be in the 20 to 25 degrees.  We are suppose to have a chance of rain all day this week..for the exception of Sat and Sun..but then again..it seem that the forecasters cant predict weather a day ahead of time ..let alone a week ahead of time.  The only thing I think we can be safe on saying is that it will be cold both Sat and Sun.

Hey now, now lets leave the forecasters alone..... : )
We went on the 3rd day of Millenium Mania.  It rained 80% of the night, and not light rain.  It was very very cold, but they stayed open.
Which was almost exactly what it was like the Friday they closed early.   :) As long as a good number of people are in the park they will never close the place early.

Don't believe those Saturday forecast just yet. It will probably be colder but there is in no way anybody can predict that far ahead. 3 day forecast are generally accurate and the 5 day ones are a stretch. Anything past that is just an outlook of what maybe to expect. I always laugh at those 14 day forecast. If someone can honestly predict exactly what it will be like November 5th right now they should be doing more that forecasting weather.

Right now I see one that says snow and a High of 42 for Saturday. Lets see if this holds true . ;)

I am there, rain, sleet, snow or shine

If it isn't raining, it'll be open.

I'll be at Breakers anyway for my anniversary, along with the best table at Bay Harbor Inn for dinner. :)

I'll be at the Centenial Theater Saturday night working with Aaron Radatz. If it gets to cold, come see us. 6pm, 7pm, 8pm, 9pm, 10pm. You may even get to be on TV.

You can tell the true park loving families, can't you Jeff?  The wife and I just got back from a quick anniversary weekend up at Disney.  Stayed at the All Star which is no Breakers but it was a good time.

On the topic of weather...it was in the high 80's.

I'll be in Orlando for IAAPA in a few weeks. Be sure to watch CoasterBuzz for the coverage. Unforunately, I won't have the wife in tow, which is a real bummer.
