Sandusky Register Article.

On the front page of the Sandusky Register there is a picture of TTD with the train almost cresting the top hat. Very neat because its a zoom shot almost.

I wonder if I can find any place in Toledo that sells the Register? Probably not.

I just tried to find it online and couldnt. Since I live in Boston, but would love to see the pic - any suggestions.

There was an article about TTD on St. Louis Post-Dispatch on Sunday 4-20. It included a big (8" square) picture of TTD towering over MF. It was computer generated pic on CP's website.

A Link to the Article- Titled "Sky High In Ohio":

*Edit* There are another article or two on roller coasters- a list of articles are here:

This may help some of you who really want to get your hands on the Sandusky Register. I desperately wanted to read the Register's coverage of TTD's announcement back in January, so I simply gave them a call at 1-800-466-1243, explained what I wanted, and they mailed me the issues dated January 9 and 10. There's no "upcharge" for this. You only pay for the actual cost of the newspaper plus postage. That's a pretty good deal considering the fact that back in 2000 when I tried to get a copy of the Chicago Tribune that had an article about Millennium Force, they wanted to charge me $10.00 for a 50-cent newspaper.
No fear, KyleG is here. (OK, that was corny, but still...) A guy scanned the pic from the Register and I found it on another CP forum. It can be found here:

"Cedar Point is the benchmark park for the industry," Minton said. "People look to how Cedar Point does things. They can get people on and off coasters safely in no time flat. They could win pit crew competitions with NASCAR."

I love it when people recognize the hard work of CP's crews and the capacity and safety oriented policies of the Park Operations division. It gives me great pride to work at a park that sets the standard in these areas! :)

I saw that article at a gas station while me and my friends were on our way to(or coming back from, can't remember which) PKI. The picture was really cool. On a side note, Flight of Fear rocked my world! :)
