Sandusky, CP & Lake Erie Islands booklet
My b/f recieved in the mail this brochure that has a bunch of Sandusky, Lake Erie area events and coupons. I assume they got his address from one of our hotel stays from last season. It has tons of discount coupons and interesting "goings on" during the season. CP even has it's own (2 page) advertisement as well-go figure! ;)
However the most interesting thing I found in this booklet was an ad for 9 different hotels, this page has a lovely picture of a stand up coaster included (even mentioning being close to CP) too bad its NOT Mantis!!
Yes it's a B&M and yes it's a stand up but NO way is it Mantis (or even Banshee) It is teal and the "nose" is black, the track itself is black. I have seen this coaster in pics before but no idea which one it is. (Remember I am NOT an enthusiast just a CP freak)
I just thought that was kind of funny that they have a non-CP coaster in an ad for the hotels by CP. Someone in the editing dept needs to get to CP more often obviousely! :)

I'd guess that the reason for the non-CP coaster is because Cedar Point wouldn't give the hotel chain permission to use one of their coasters.
