Sandusky, 1898

Hope I did this right... the following should direct you to the Library of Congress website, and a page with a map of Sandusky in 1989. Clicking on a certain peninsula to the right on the image and you'll see Cedar Point...
http://memory.loc.gov/cgi-bin/map_item.pl?data=/home/www/data/gmd/gmd408/g4084/g4084s/pm007070.sid&itemLink=D?gmd:1:./temp/~ammem_gd5B::&title=Sandusky,+Ohio.+&style=gmd&legend=

OK, I see it stretches out the page. Sorry about that. Is there a way to avoid that? I just thought this might be of interest to others.

VERY cool -- especially when you get close up and can see the buildings on property!

What a great find!  There is a similar mural in the Sandusky Library.  The one in the library has even more buildings, I believe...must be a based on a slightly later map.  So if you ever make the long drive to Sandusky in the off season "just to look at CP from Battery Park", stop in the library and check out the mural.
Nice bit of detective work - thanks for sharing!
