Safety concerns?

Hi there, has anyone noticed an increase in security at Cedar Point lately? I’m wondering if there is a credible threat or if they’re just being proactive about security. For example, there was a bomb sniffing dog at the lockers today at soak city. Then when we went to the park I saw a permanent sign near magnum which had a number to text if you saw any security issues. Also saw several additional security guards around Frontierland but maybe that was because the festival going on right now. It’ll unsettling but again maybe they’re just being proactive to avoid any issues.

Bomb dog has been around at least a few years. I see it every couple of trips.

Ive been to the park 30+ times this year and haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary. They are just being visible and thats good to see.
