Sadly dissapointed

Will any body here be dissapointed that the new ride is so short. They could have at least added an overbanked turn at the end.

Yeah 400 feet tall (the world's tallest) and 100+ mph (the world's fastest) is pretty lame. What a waste of money when they could have just improved the special effects in Disaster Transport and made everyone happy.

Yeah Cheif Wahoo, but the ride has soo much potential. They've gotten through the hard part ( the tower) now they should take this for granted and make this the best damn ride in the world. Longest , tallest, fastest

I was pretty upset when Power Tower opened. I mean, all it does is go up and down. Couldn't they have at least added a twist or something?

Well Jake, it will be the tallest and fastest. By not making it the longest does that take away from the incredible experience it will be?

If you want loops ride Raptor, Mantis and Corkscrew. If you want overbanked turns ride MF. If you want the kind of speed that will rip your toupee right off you head, ride #16.

Check the webcam! They changed their minds! It really was a trick to fool us! The steelworkers just ripped out the track turning in to the station to add more hills, loops and...made ya look.

I feel this would be an interesting time to chime in.

Personally I see this ride design has been created with great potential for future rides. The location and simplity will allow for future designs that can interact. Look at the location not only could a future ride interact with #16 but it could go over to MF Island or eve Iron Dragon. I just see it as a great ride and greater rides for the future.

Sometimes you have to think how can we get bodies into the park. Thats how PR and Park Design have to work together.

I'll probably be attacked forever about this comment, but this thing seems to be just a bigger WT. I know it has a different launch system and all that crap, but look at it. You're going to go up the tower, while twisting, then go down the tower, while twisting. I'm sorry but I see no reason why CP built WT last year.

I'll agree I thought the same thing at first. But they really are two different rides and while the GP may think, "Hey they both launch" I doubt most people will wonder why they built WT. I love WT and no matter what other launching and twisting coasters they build, I still think it's a good ride, and I'm glad they added it.

Well, let's see, the Mine Ride and Magnum both have lift hills and are both steel so I wonder why Cedar Point chose to build Maggie? What a waste!

What were they thinking when they built Power Tower? They already had Demon Drop.

Come on! The experiences of Wicked Twister and # 16 aren't going to be anywhere nearly similar and even the most coaster illiterate will be able to tell that just by looking at them.

CP's new coaster is like a lot of things in life, really big things make up for things that arn't so big.
