Some sad news about someone we all have seen on the midway enjoying the park. You may not have known his name but I bet you’ll remember seeing him in the midway.
For the old timers on this site I bet John will find Pete at the bar in heaven and talk all night long about CP.
I’ll hoist one for you down here.
My heart actually hurt when I heard about Mr Skywards passing. It just never seemed like a complete day at the point without seeing john. It always made me feel good that he’d see me and come over to me to talk. When I worked raptor he always made sure he waited on what ever row had so I had to check his seat. Or if I was in controls he would always wave at me
The midway will never ever be the same
RIP John ❤️
It's all about getting around the barrels, or over the fences, right leads, no faults, fastest time and looking pretty when done. What's so hard about that?
I did not know him personally, but did see him often at the park. Probably the only place I saw him more often was at Sts. Peter & Paul church.
Proud to have fathered a second generation coaster enthusiast destined to keep me young at heart and riding coasters with a willing partner into my golden years!
