There have only been 4 deaths that I am aware of at CP, all on the Stage Coach Ride (back in the mid 60's). The coach flipped over killing 4 riders. The ride was gone by the end of the day. Never to be seen again.
Oh yeah - my sisters, best friends, cousins, Aunt just heard that CP was bought by Paramount - the New Park will be called PCP........
Please remain seated until the ride comes to a complete AND final stop.....
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
Goodbye MrScott

Smoking Marijuana isn't a bad thing or even a good one, like everything else, its what you make of it.
Guess what? Someone just flew out of TTD a couple of minutes ago! I saw it on the CP web cam!
Well, the most obscene rumor I heard was that Draster is ran by some computer system that the army uses. The US government hired Intamin to use this hydrolic technology and they are testing it on a roller coaster before they start to use it on aircraft carriers. Thats why they used military helicoptors to put the final pieces on the top. He was there are saw them. Oh yeah, and he said that his dad worked in black ops or something for the government.
I don't know if it gets more far fetched than that.

The biggest incedent on TTD clearly is when the 4 riders were hit by pieces of the lower cable. People saw the incedent in the media and didn't read it carefully.
If I'm not mistaken, I read on CoasterBuzz a 92 year old lady died in July or August this year.

MrGomez,
You may have read it there, but that doesn't make it true. Jeff can clear this one up, I'm sure.

I know this just sounds like one of those bogus rumors, but I remember hearing that a man died on Demon Drop (not by flying off, but a heart attack). Is that true?
You really do hear these things everywhere. When I went to Carowind's (my homepark), I heard someone saying that Top Gun was that tallest in the world, and a girl's hair got caught at the top of Drop Zone and she was scalped. How dumb...
I think during the first year or two of Drop Zone at Carowind's, a twelve year old boy fell to his death while riding it.
Sorry MrScott, I guess I didn't bother reading the article. She was a coaster enthusiast in her 90's who died.

I'm not trying to start a rumor but i did hear that years back some guy lost his hat on Raptor, after riding he climbed the fence to find his hat and was struck in the head by a womans leg riding Raptor. Appearently he died and the woman broke her leg pretty bad. Im sure that is just a big rumor but i have always been curious plus I've heard this from a few different people. Thanx to whoever for trying to clear this one up. Oh and i wonder why Magnum hasn't been sold to Japan yet because it has been sinking for years. I think the lift hill is only 185 feet now...LOL!! I hate hearing that one in the cue, it makes me violent and want to punch people.
I want to ride a rollercaster NAKED!!
This happened on a different coaster at a different park. Not Raptor or Cedar Point.
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
No One has died on it...........yet. Its nearly the only rollercoaster that is fast that no one died on. One person died on MF from gum and one lost its hair and little skin on Power Tower cause hair was wwwwwaaaayyyy to long.
oh and these arnt rumors. even ask people that work there.
Clean out your hearing aids then.
No one has died while on a Cedar Point coaster. People have had heart attacks (mentioned earlier in this thread) after the ride or before the ride, but no one has died yet on a Cedar Point roller coaster.
