I think the last ride of the year would be interesting topic for a short-form documentary.

As my group and I walked into the line at 8:06, we decided to wait behind the vending machines and sneak behind him just to see how peeved he would get. He was indeed mad and I giggled the entire way to the station. But when we got to the ramp, he waited at the turn until we got past him. So I stopped right at the turnstiles for 30 seconds just to peeve him off even more.
Some may consider it a jerk move but I find it funny to see what buttons I can push to get him mad. >:)
That would've made an entertaining video! :)

He has to be. After butting into one of my conversations (and telling me that just because we both live in Michigan, there's no reason for me to NOT be at the park all the damn time) I realized he must have very little to do outside of the park.

Including the view from the employees. You would be surprised how many people bring cookies and candy to the crews so that when that special moment happens, they hope the crew with give them special treatment.

October 27th at Haunt Central, I was on my way to clock out for the night, when a person skipped along past me (on a narrow ramp) and yelled “I’m a trans girl!” It took me a second to process the situation. The person didn’t appear to be talking to anyone inparticular and I've never seen this person in the ballroom before, where only employees are suppose to be (no tours were given at the time). The final day of the season, I was enjoying the park with my girlfriend and we were in Frontier Town and behold, the same person skipped right along and yelled “I just want to have sex with a trans girl like me!” Again, to no particular person. No matter what your political views are, or your views on transgender people are, that is not acceptable behavior! There were families and children around. You don’t yell that in public. It made me furious, especially because they were just making a point to everyone and not actually telling a specific person. I almost ran after and flipped out on them but didn’t feel like running to catch up to them.

I had plenty of experience with this person during HW, going all the way back to the first one in September. (I'm going to use the pronoun "she" for simplicity). She walks around the park talking to nobody in particular, complaining about why certain rides aren't open and they should just "close the whole damn park", But towards the end of the season she got more and more vocal about her gender and sexual orientation. It was loud, obnoxious, and inappropriate. I had my young children with me who had to hear all that and were full of questions later that night. To each their own, I'm not judging and I don't care, but I don't see the need to be screaming those kind of announcements in crowded places.
The worst of it was the last ride of the season on Millenium. Once fastened in the car, she was literally screaming "I used to be a boy and now I'm a girl, I'm a proud transgender strong female, WHEEEE!!!!!", then proceeded to take off her wig and held it up in her hand for the entire ride inches from my face (I was seated behind her). Inexcusable and shameful behavior to say the least.
I'm probably thinking of the same person. Does it all over the coaster groups on Facebook, too. Right?
African American, late teens or early 20's? I'm not connected to coaster groups on social media so I can't comment on that part.
Yep. 100%.
Just posted something today about can't wait to see how a certain coaster feels as a girl vs as a boy or something like that. I'm pretty much a "whatever" kind of person when it comes to what people do - unless it's being an attention whore, because that's all that is.
The behavior even leached into the Cleveland Indians groups during the playoffs. It's annoying, but I try to ignore it.
Why are you being a douche? Did I say ANYTHING remotely offensive to ANYONE who may be gay/trans/etc? I was commenting on the person's behavior, not their lifestyle choices. It's people like you that sound the false alarms of bigotry, hate, etc for no good reason at all other than to make yourself feel good. And to delight in the uncomfortable situation another person has WITH YOUNG CHILDREN PRESENT? You, sir, are a disgrace.
Grow up!
Uh. Are you talking to me? Because I’m pretty sure I said the exact same thing. I don’t like that behavior/attention seeking from anyone.
