I am a firm believer that roller coasters are the greatest art forms there are.... not only can you look at their wonderful structure and marvel at it's exterrior beauty, but you can also board them and experience the art involved in their structure. It is the only kind of art that you can truely do that with. The forces they take on your body. The sounds of them. The themeing. It is all apart of the art. Many people don't view roller coasters that way, but I do... so Cedar Point, being an amusement park to many, is also a kind of musuem that functions on all levels of human senses. Sight - the structures of the roller coasters and many of the times, the view from the roller coasters themsleves. Sound - the sounds of roller coasters all around you (the breaks kicking in on the MF while waiting in line, the sounds of screams from the Rapter when having lunch on the causeway, the sound of the Wicked Twister's screaching launch). Smell - many people will admit Cedar Point has it's own smell, even different parts of the park smell different (the smell of lake erie by the water rides, smell of food almost everywhere you go). Feeling - the g forces of the roller coasters. Taste - good food all around. Well anyway, that was a really long spiel. Hope you enjoyed it, and will think of it next time you find yourself at Cedar Point. Until then though, some pics I took at
