Roller Coaster Show

Everybody turn on the travel channel tonight, there's an amusement park show on at 10:00 pm and it's sopposed to feature The Force and some other newer coasters! The commercial add made the show look pretty cool- i hope it is, watch it and tell me what you think!

yeah lol! It was good as far as the footage and stuff, but it was a park countdown and CP was number 2...the park with all those virtual reality rides got first, even tho they said cedar point was a "roller coaster utopia"...

I know we all love cedar point the most, and we know it should be #1, but don't make fun of Islands of Adventure. It just happens to be my home park, and I like it alot. Of course I have never been to Cedar Point yet, so if CP was #1 I could just say "the park with all those roller coaster, and stuff". Now I'm not saying CP isn't the best thing since telivision, because in my opinion it's better. Just don't make fun of it if youve never been there.

I don't think anyone was trying to make fun... I think IOA is a great park, but, personally I like the traditional rides of Cedar Point (Midway Carousel, Blue Streak, Calypso, Mine Ride...)

I went to Universal Studios Fl. before I ever went to CP, and this was a couple years before IOA. I had fun but I just couldn't get into "thrill rides" like they have that simulate experiences. I'm glad they have some honest to goodness coasters now, and they might be great, but I'd have to give my #1 to CP just for the trueness of the environment and damn good coasters, like Gemini. One more question, is trueness a word or did I make that up? :)

They said there isn't enough of a demand for it. Yet they are considering MTV2???? whatever...

Was this the show that they did the onride footage shoot last fall??? cause if it was.. I'm on MF.. hehe

In case anyone was worrying, this was a rerun - the top ten amusement parks. It was not a new show, for everyone that didn't get to see it.

Hand Smacker, IOA has some excellent coasters in Dueling Dragons and Hulk, don't totally discount them because of your experiences at USF before they added IOA...it's a world of difference now.

Plus Spiderman rocks the frickin' house. It was definitely worth the wait, although I don't know that I'd wait for it again...honestly it's really like no other simulator you've ever been on.

Not that I'm saying they're my #1 park. I don't think I have one. We all know what my #1 coaster is though. :o)

i wasn't trying to make fun of it..I was just saying that it WAS the park with all the virtual reality stuff
