Roller Coaster clubs

I know this probably has been discussed before but what clubs do the Ohio people belong to?

I belong to ACE (American Coaster Enthusiasts). It is a great club, the events are a blast, and the discounts at differnt parks are cool (like half off for PKI for example). The publications are usualy very well put together, you get ACE news, and RollerCoaster magazine with your membership. They also have other publications such as the Guide To Ride 2000, which has every coaster in North America as off the year 2000, as well as stats, infomation on designers and differnt production coasters, as well as summing up coaster history. That book is the best $20 I've ever spent on a book, lol.

People also belong to Coaster Zombies, Great Ohio Coaster Club. Others belong to the European Coaster Club.

Look around, and find what suits your fancy. On this site there has been some negative energy twards ACE members becuase of a few bad apples on the tree (as in EVERY organization). I have to say, all of the ACE members I've met at events were very nice, helpful, and extreemly fun to ride with. I am a first year member, and I am VERY pleased with ACE.

Im in Coaster Zombies. I first joined it just to get into Coastermania, but I then got Amusement Today, which keeps me up to date with coaster news. I think it was only 10.00 to be a member.

I'm an American Coaster Enthusiast as well. Thinking about joining GOCC...maybe someday.

I'm a SCCC member. (Southern California Coaster Club) and it's free to join. We get in Knott's in January at the Knott's Coaster Kickoff. It's gonna be tight.
