rollbacks besides TTD

has anyone been on or seen a rollback on another coaster besides TTD?

Rollbacks happen occasionally on Gemini, usually with empty trains I believe.

Mean Streak rolled back a couple of years ago, so did Millennium Force.

Yeah back in 2003 Mean Streak rolled back but the train was empty. I was working on platform when it happened and I found the rollback to be really funny to be honest.

I heard about mantis rollback, back when it first opened.

i would love to be on mantis or raptor in a rollback

I've never been on one, but I got stuck on the very top of the vortex lift, last halloween, at PKI. They finally let it go over, after 15 minutes. It was kinda cool. My niece was with me, and she was terrified

Why would you want to get stuck on a hill?

I've heard of Gemmi, CCMR, and Bluestreak all rolling back.

I have seen CCMR roll back a couple of times unloaded. Mostly happens in the cold mornings. You can see that nice little winch they put in right before the helix.

Saw CCMR have several rollbacks on a cold windy day last fall. Loaded a few maintainence people into the front of the train. Left the front car's lapbars open, and every time they approached the top of a hill, one guy standing on the catwalk gave the guy in the front seat the end of a cable. He attached it, they winched the train up and over the hill.

I was on ccmr when it rolled back in 1998. I was also at the controls of mean streak when it rolled back that same year.

What part of the course did the train roll back on MS?

When I was there and it rolled back it rolled back while trying to go over the first really big turn so the train ended up at the bottom of the first hill. Someone did get pictures of it (I remember seeing them) but I can't remember who it was that took them.

I watched Raptor roll back the year it opened. It was just begining to thunderstorm and the train was making its way up into the mid course brake. A huge gust of wind came off the lake and caused it to stall and roll back.

Mean streak rolled back right where the on ride photo takes your picture(right above the entrance to the q).

I have pictures of the roll back, but right now I dont have a way to put them on my computer.
