Rollbacks

I keep hearing a lot that if the train rolls back then you get another ride. But wait a second, is that really true? If the train doesn't make it all the way to the top, wouldn't that mean that there is something wrong with the system and they would have to reset it?

I've been on Wicked Twister when it broke down and I had to wait on the launch run for 20 minutes, did not get a re-ride, and then they wouldn't let people on until a little after that.

Even though they have different braking systems, wouldn't they have to inspect it and reset it before they let other people on the ride?

its called mis-fires and it will happen...not everytime can it get fired at 120 mph not likely to happen but it might. i have a season pass so if i get a rollback atleast once and no re-ride i won't care! i think a rollback would be so fun!.
Under certain weather conditions, a rollback will occur. If the rollback occurs because of a wierd weather condition, and not mechanical, I can't see why they wouldn't let you re-ride. Besides, even if there was a mechanical failure, you should demand for a ticket that let's you go to the front, since you didn't get to experience the entire ride.

If it rollsback, and all mechanical things are ok, then relaunch!

If there's bugs on your shirt, you had a good ride.

I forgot to mention that when Wicked Twister broke down on me they gave me 2 front-o-da-line passes, even though they gave everyone else 1 (I think). So even if you can't re-ride, I guess you'll still get the pass.
