The Matrix: Reloaded!

The Matrix: Reloaded!

Who thinks the park should have Top Thrill Dragster Rollback Day! One slow weekday every year they should change the ride operation and launch riders with a very high rollback and then a full launch. I know this would slow capacity to a crawl but for all those people like me who would like to experience a rollback it would be sweet!

Opening Day, just 2 long days away!

Roll back is a malfunction and should be treated as such .The Coaster industry CANNOT take chances on injuring its riders EVER.
May 3,03- thanks for the additional information not haveing been there i didn't see the sign about rollback. My initial reaction was it was a wrong thing to happen and i see they expect it TO happen from time to time. your right tho it would be spooky and fun too.

What are you talking about? A rollback on this ride is an acceptable thing that's just going to happen from time to time. It's not going to hurt anyone. Heck, they have it posted on the signs that it will happen from time to time.

If you look at the virtualmidway pics. The last warning on the list above the entrance says "occaisonally the train will not clear the hill, please do not be concerned the train will roll slowly back into the lanch position." It all has to do with standard deviation, which is the square root of variance.
What do you think rogue, isnt it plain common sense? of course they will launch you again they cant just not let you ride....
well, i feel inclined to give you a nice thank you, but then again, ill just leave you alone for attempting to insult my coomo sense. of course i thought they would launch you back, i just liked to have someone reassure me.

Actually, I think you would have to ride again, even if you wanted off. Not that I saw the actual ride, but from the diagrams, it doesn't look like there is an unloading area at the launch part, but I may be wrong.
I e-mailed Cedar Point and asked about people that changed there mind about riding at the last minute. They said there is an exit on the loading platform, so people don't have to walk back threw the line. So I would think if someone really wanted off, they could use that exit too.
yes but if you watch the videos, once a train is on the launch, there is already another train sitting right behind it on the launch...so basically once your train moves to the launch posistion....your going 420 ft. in the air!!!!
