Roll Call: Coaster Mania 2003

altec tech, I'm meeting up at people (manily members from RideWorld) two times, with the second time being the time that will add on to the first group. The first meeting will be at 5:45 A.M. at the McDonlads near the causeway. Then we will be meeting up at11:30 after the Q&A outside the converntion center. So if you or anyone else want to meet up with us, just show on up and introduce yourself...the more people the better!

Well folks, I would love to be there, but there is a slight problem. It is way too late in the game for me to get a membership to any of the clubs in time (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong). Therefore, if there is anyone going that is not taking a guest, I would be honored if you would help me get in. I'm a junkie with 60+ coasters under my belt, but never took the time to commit to a particular club. (I am active duty Navy and until I was stationed in Michigan, I was moving around too much to really reap the benefits of joining) If someone were willing to help me, I would be more than happy to pony up for dinner and a couple adult bevereges (if desired) at TGIFridays or wherever you plan on going. I hope this is a reasonable request, and if not,feel free to let me know that too. Thank you very much.

OK! I will admit it. (but it's not like no one was accusing me, It was just eating me up inside) I am.... 14 years old!! But really I am mature, I love all roller coasters, CP is my favorite park, I am a member of a coaster club, and I have a season pass to CP as well! And if any of you guys are gonna be at coastermania, look for me!!!I will be the kid with a blue illini hat and will be wearing a GREY T-shirt that says "Cedar Point Sandusky, OH" with an American flag. I will most likely be with my bro or dad... just say hi to me, or something. I will be the party is at. (the designated places for ERT's) Well. C ya there!

I'd like to take a moment to thank my general manager for requiring me to be at the store at 7:15am on the 7th... how I'm going to get from Cedar Point at 1:30am to Auburn Hills after being at the park for 20 hours is beyond me.

Suppose the 4 months notice of this trip wasn't enough.

Might still go... I'm tired of this one job anyway. But since my friend is under the same issue, he's not going.

TekGuy: I know it would be tough, but you could always take off a bit earlier so it wouldn't be quite as bad. I'm supposed to be in Livonia at 9 AM the next morning - so I'm sorta in the same boat as you (OK, not nearly as bad as yours)... But my current plan is to take off around midnight - we'll see what happens come June 6th!!!

Maybe you could pry yourself away around 11?!?! *shrug*

June 6th, Coastermania, What a great Birthday Present. I get my Drivers licence the 6th. I have to go past C/p to get to my Bro's house. I am going to have to drop in for a few rides and to get my season pass. It's only 10 mins out of the way......

It's all about getting around the barrels, or over the fences, right leads, no faults, fastest time and looking pretty when done. What's so hard about that? :)

Goin' up to the Point on the 4th and staying thru CoasterMania. Then heading on down to PKI for BeastBuzz. Will PKI provide cots for us to take naps on after we have lunch. :)

/me thinks it will be one LONG but seriously fun day at PKI after attending CoasterMania the previous day. :) :)

Skipping the meeting at work. They had no problems with me going on this trip 4 months ago when I mentioned it. They had no problems a month ago when I reconfirmed, and then put a hotel room on my credit card. They had a problem a week and a half before.

Too late. I'm going. I'm staying. I'll take the write-up. (I even already read the meeting material. I know how to navigate manufacturer support sites already... I don't need training on that.)

I don't think i'll be there, not that it wouldn't be cool to go when everyone is going, but thats just it EVERYONE is going, the lines are going to be so long, I did every coaster in the park the other day (minus jr. gemini and woodstock express) plus a few thrill rides, plus a second ride on dragster. I have a feeling that durring Coaster Mania, that would not be possiable, and since i can go any time, i think i'll wait

My girlfriend and I will be there with a couple of friends. It will be our 1st Coastermania and we've got a room at Breakers Thurs - Sat. I can't wait! Pete, we are all about some drinks at Fridays on the Beach before the evening ERT. Hollar back about when would be a good time to meet.

The computer was messing up that day when the recording just kept saying arms down thats all he said, the lights werent even working, today if people kept them up or down, it didn't say anything. We both sat that with our arms half up before it took off.
