Robin Innes on WMJI

Robin Innes will be on the radio Wednesday May 13th with Lanigan and Malone on Cleveland's Magic 105.7 FM.

Funny thing is that I found this out listening to Don "Action" Jackson. He is on air now and just said, "Robin Innes from Cedar Point will be on tomorrow with Lanigan and Malone. You know it's getting close to summer when we talk to her." :) Obviously, no one told Don that Robin isn't a woman.

That's pretty funny. Hope they get that corrected before they go on air!

The voice of Cedar Point.... Robin Innes... Sometimes he seems so uncomfortable doing interviews...

I e-mailed Don and let him know just in case he plans to promote it again later.

I used to work with Action on Jammin' 92.3 back in the day. He was on before me. Funny how at the time he said he'd rather be working an oldies station, and I'd rather be working at an alternative station. It only took 12 years after I left for it to become one!

^Are you saying I shouldn't have e-mailed him? I only mentioned it because of what japaninator said. He e-mailed me back and thanked me because he did not know Robin was a man.

Funny to hear them talk about enthusiasts dying to get a rollback on TTD.

Who in the heck are these Carter Twins, anyway? Is this a huge draw? I'm concerned, because I'm coming on Sunday with the specific intention of avoiding the Opening Day crowds. They better not swamp the place, or I'll...I'll...well, I'll just grouse and moan for twenty minutes.

That would be pretty embarassing! In high school my sister switched schools, and said next to this boy with long hair on her first day. She didn't see his face, and referred to him as a "her". I'll never let her down for that. :)

You think this guy would have researched Robin Innes a little bit before broadcasting about the interview with "her."

In all fairness, given the "Robins" in Cleveland media, this is hardly an unexpected mistake.

Local Akron country music band. I did not think they would flip the buck for anyone that is not State Fair material. If you miss them at CP, you can see them at the KS Country Stampede on June 28th.. . :)

Wow, I'm from Akron (well, Cuyahoga Falls -- same diff), and I don't think I've ever heard of them. Then again, I listen to country about as often as I get a root canal.

Jeff Jones was on WZJM/Cleveland 1995-1996. On WYHT/Mansfield 1994-1995. Despite a promising career in the biz, it was a sucky biz to get in and I bailed.
