Road Contruction OTW to CP

It may be a bit early for this but any word on what road construction is planned for this season?  Anyone know of any sites that list road construction for routes to CP?  I always hate when I'm OTW and run into grid-lock.  Thanks.

P.S.- I just saw the title after posting so be nice ;)

Actually yeah, I would go to the site Jeffrey Spartan linked to.  ODOT generally announces there summer road construction plans around this time of year if not earlier.

Actually I'm sure it's never really like a shocker announcement, just something to make their plans official to upset people :) J/k  (AKA - a public service announcement)

Well, if you utilize the Turnpike, then US 250 to get to the Point, then be prepared for some delay.  ODoT is widening 250 to 5 lanes from the turnpike to the existing 5 lane facility which starts near St. Rt. 2.  The widening is complete from Scheid Rd. to Rt 2, but the Turnpike to Schied will not be done unitl November.

It's not a true trip to the park unless I have to be irritated by road work on the turnpike (coming from Pa). One trip I counted seven different construction areas on the way to the park, and on the way home.. three.
Thanks for the help and the link guys.
Glad I take Route 2.  Now, if they can just keep 75 and 280 clear, although last year I recall construction on Route 2 as well.
I JUST read this thread so excuse my tardiness. I just wanted to let you know that 280 at I-75 is STILL under construction (as of Feb 8th) and looks like it will be for awhile still. The good thing about this though is that when I passed through there it looked as if it might be in the next phase of the project.

"Oh my God..WEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!"

280 between 75 and Rt 2 has been under construction for like 8 years now! It seems like it will never end. Thank God it's only a short stretch for us Michiganders.

And it will be for another 3-4 years.. They are prepping for the new suspension bridge that 280 will be using. The current bridge (The Craig Bridge) is gonna be changed to local access (east-west) because of all the problems they have been having with the drawbridge getting stuck. It's one of the last interstates in the US to be going over an active drawbridge.

If you've ever been stuck on 280 because the bridge is open, you KNOW how many people are cheering for this project.

The last project that kept this area torn up (and led to the new bridge) was the Greenbelt Parkway project which is done.

Fotrunately the stretch of 280 between 75 and route 2 is a short one. I HAVE been stuck by the bridge, and in 90 degree heat and humidity.
