So with all the speculation....what about if CCMR were to get a much deserved overhall. Sure it is Frontier Town and nostalgic; just imagine the cool track layout in place with the old part of CP and the dips over the Lagoons!

Mine Ride is fine how it is. It's a classic and a family friendly ride. I would be very disappointed if anything happened to it besides maybe new trains.
What exactly would RMC be able to do with it? It barely gets off the ground.
2018- Raptor
CP Top 5- 1)MF 2) Maverick 3) Gatekeeper 4) Top Thrill Dragster 5) Raptor

Yep, I agree. It's a good "starter" coaster for young kids / new to riding coasters. The only thing I would change is the lap bars. (Goodness, gracious, they hurt my thighs)...
Let's leave CCMR just as it is, an RMC re-do is the most ridiculous thing I've heard today, though I must admit I haven't seen what Trump has been up to today.
As ridiculous as a pink survey marker with RMC on it means MS is getting a full RMC makeover?
New for 2024- Wicked Twister Plus
I'm with Smiley.
RMC makeover? Not needed. Updated trains and restraints. Needed.
I'm a Marxist, of the Groucho sort.
Every RMC'd coaster has been wooden. CCMR is steel.

I ride CCMR often,as a break from TTD,MF,GtKpr,Mvrck,Rougarou,& MnStrk. Leave it as is. Don't ride Magnum much anymore and don't ride Raptor at all anymore, the double helix at its' end upsets me physically.

I love the mentality that "RMC only does wood coasters" and "GCI can't do more than re-track". Folks, the future won't always mirror the past.
What Noggin said. Mine Ride's height limit has no business being above 39", much less 48. That said, I understand the current trains/restraints make the 48" benchmark necessary, but the fact that this has never been addressed is one of the areas that continues to disappoint about the Point.
More accessible trains is the only makeover I would like to see, unless you're on the phone with Garner/Holt.

I didn't say it would. But, considering many people think CCMR and Gemini are wood coasters, I felt it worth while to point out. Along the line of anything is possible, it's possible the park won't be open next year. But, I wouldn't count on it.

Arrow/Arrow-Huss/Arrow Development, to the best of my knowledge, never produced a wood tracked roller coaster.
That doesn't stop people from looking at a wooden structured coaster and assuming that it is a wooden coaster.

People, like on a CP enthusiast forum? :l
RMC could certainly lay new steel rail for Gemini and CCMR. Why not? RMC has plenty experience with wooden supports and steel rail. It's all about what the customer (parks) want and are willing to pay for.
Why would CP possibly wish to convert a tubular steel mine coaster into a (probably) very similar experience for (again, probably) millions of dollars? If anything, the best money that could be spent on that ride would be for new trains.

I don't think anyone who is an "enthusiast" actually believes them to be wood coasters - but it sure is fun to troll and say as such. Some people get really, really riled up about it.
I agree. But, pretty much every enthusiast was uninformed GP at some point. Not everyone here has the same knowledge base as everyone else. And considering there's more lurkers than posters, pointing out the seemingly obvious isn't always a bad thing.
