Rip Roarin' Falls

Just saw the announcement for Carowinds' 2027 flume ride.

Let's hope this is what is coming to CP where STR II and SRF used to be.

Yep, especially given the height requirement: "35 inches when accompanied and 41 inches when unaccompanied."

Yes something like that would be the perfect addition to the park. Here's to hoping! 🤞

Was this meant for Cedar Point, and was switched to Carowinds? Looks like a perfect Snake River replacement. Redo of Shoot The Rapids, one that doesn’t try to kill the riders by holding them underwater.

Sit tight fellas ;) Whoop, Whoop Juggalos!

^Brother P.O.W., when I saw your comment on "Rip-Roarin' Falls" pop up here I have to admit I expected the words to flow in a different commode, errrrrrrr, mode.

Honestly, I have a vision for Millennium Island itself that would incorporate a flume like that. Of course, I don't see it as realistic.

The island itself would have a pirate theme. Flats on the island include a relocated Ocean Motion and an observation tower called Crow's Nest. The Snake River Expedition area becomes Snake River Pirate Attack, a fully animatronic ride designed to resurrect elements of the old Pirate Ride.

As for the Super Flume? It would be the "Snake" in Snake River, and would come a year after the pirate stuff.

Unofficial Rule of Ride Removals

You must announce removals in advance so people can get their last rides in, unless a major incident or malfunction prevents the ride from doing so.

This applies to roller coasters, flat rides, water rides, and so on.

Exceptions to this rule include upcharge attractions, waterpark rides, and rides that are effectively redundant within a park.

No, the tower is called Thread the Needle.
