If my screen name doesn't prove that, then the 2 Raptor tattoos I have should ;)

It's all about getting around the barrels, or over the fences, right leads, no faults, fastest time and looking pretty when done. What's so hard about that?
Like we all said just go for it...don't take so much time to think about it!

I wouldn't go on a ride bigger than Mine Ride or Iron Dragon and then I was forced on Millennium Force and it changed my way of looking at coasters forever. And look at me now, I take the 2 1/2 hour drive to Cedar Point at least 3 times a year and ride every ride there.

You'll enjoy it.
As for myself, I love the Raptor. I didn't ride it last summer because I had gained weight and was a little too big to ride it. I'm dieting right now and I'm down about 40 lbs from the last time I went to the doctor over winter break. If I can't ride it, I'll keep trying to lose.
I know this topic goes all the way back to 2004 and I apologize in advance.Anyway though, I have a complaint about Raptor. For one I don't understand why the Raptor crew rushes you to get to your seat. That drives me and other people nuts. By time you try to put your stuff in the bin and deal with the people that just got off, the ride operators are ready to close the restraint. Are they on quota or something? The other complaint I have is I wish there was a more gentle approach to the train coming back into the station. Yesterday I rode Raptor 5 times and had a head ache for an hour just from that last turn. Does anybody else feel the same way about Raptor last turn?
Personally, I love the intensity of the last turn of Raptor. I suppose the ride ops want to prevent stacking the trains when they run all three. But I never had the problem of them locking my seat before I get a chance to sit in it..
You must have not hated the ride ops and final turn too bad if you rode it five times.
Let's Get Weird.
^The ride hosts want to hit interval as much as possible. Rushing people back into the seats is probably the only way they think it is possible to do it. I don't know why the ride hosts don't assign seats; if they did, the riders with loose articles could be placed in seats near the bins. It always seems that exiting patrons and spectators hang around toward the exit putting on shoes. That slows the riders who need to put stuff in the bin down.
