Rider photoshoots?

I saw on CP's facebook page where they posted "Thanks to all of our facebook fans that participated in the photo shoot today. We were able to capture some great shots like this one on Millennium Force!" This made a few questions pop up in my head. How do you become a part of these photoshoots, and do you get paid for them? Do you get free entry into the park to participate? How often do these take place? Just wondering. I think it'd be fun to do one sometime!

Probably on the place where you saw those participants being thanked. No pay, no free tickets.

They don't happen too often, as far as I'm aware. They are discussed most often on the facebook page! Keep an eye out on the Cedar Point page for info on how to apply to be in one!

Sunday there was a sign at the entrances saying something to the effect that CP was shooting promotional material and that your likeness could end up being in photos and/or videos, etc. I don't remember the wording, but that was the general angle.

My friend got in the STR promo video, and she just filled out an app online. I wish I would have done that, but I guess you just have to watch on the site or I guess facebook too

I was part of the Rip Tide photoshoot at Valleyfair. Surprisingly tedious process. And now the picture I was in isn't on the pop machine by the ride any more! Sad day...
