Just wait till you graduate.;)
In the last two years the University of Toledo has had two snow days and a handful of days where classes before noon or after 5 were cancelled. I guess that must be thanks to the new "ultra safety conscious" regeime that's in charge there, because before last year they hadn't had a snow day in over 20 years.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
For several years until 2005-06, we practically got no snow days. Ever. That got to the point where even all area districts were out (ie West Bloomfield, Novi, etc) and we still went to school.
Then, for 2006-07, we got a new superintendent. This year, for one, we've had about four or five days off, though one was due to MRSA.
Crappy thing is, they gave us at least one day off they shouldn't have, and then the parents complained. Basically, we had school yesterday. I, along with the person in front of me, got stuck trying to enter the darn parking lot.
Now we have no snow days left. :(
