When does ride testing begin? Post pictures if you have them... thanks.

Maverick perhaps? I wanna RIDE ON.
The pictures would look just like any other day.
They're already testing rides. They open in only a few weeks.

The weird weather kind of makes me wonder. If it is raining like it is here in pittsburgh do they still test the rides? I know that they wont run them in the rain with passengers on board, but if there is no risk of a safety issue do they still test or scrap it for a while or the day?
Firemen never die, they just burn forever in the hearts of the people whose lives they saved
The rides will be ready to run by opening day, just as they have for over 100 years. Is there really anything else that someone needs to know or worry about?
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
Yes, is MaxAir still waiting for parts? Or are they waiting for a couple weeks before the park opens to test it??
^^ - actually running the rides is only a small part of the pre-season test. They need to check the track, electrical systems, brake systems, controls. All that fun stuff is part of "testing".
Rides will be running soon, so don't worry.

I would imagine after what happened on opening day of last year, they are most definitely testing all the rides in the rain if possible.

Loneranger,
According to the live webcam, there is a beautiful blue sky above Cedar Point right now.
Chuck Wagon,
Assuming you're referring to the Magnum Train 'Accident,' that actaully happened on Memorial Day Weekend, not opening weekend. We were at the park that day and had no idea it happened. That night we saw it on the news. That was the weekend Maverick opened for the first time...

It has been stated a couple times that maXair is scheduled to open May 10.

I hope Maxair breaks on opening day, and not just breaking down, but totally busting out and having the whole pendulum arm fly off the "hub" and crashing into WT and skidding across the beach! Maybe, if we are fortunate, it will smash the ugly building off of DT and expose it to the light! :)

Why would you wish such a thing?! They just spent a lot of money this offseason to repair MaXair. I don't know about you but I missed MaXair at the end of the season and want to actually ride it.
Are you joking or are you serious? If serious, then that's just twisted. In a bad way. If you're joking, that's one sick joke. :(
They spent quite a bit this off season to fix 'er up all nice like for us to enjoy, on top of the several million they spent in the first place. Come on.

I've been working to get the Snoopy Boutique ready for opening day, and there's been a lot of activity going on around the park. I don't have time to go looking around the park, and see all that's happening, but it does seem to me that the park will be more than ready for opening day. I really love working at Cedar Point!

What site can you find and see which rides are testing? Not that I have time during my busy day to watch rides test, but just wanted to know. By the way is Maverick testing, does anyone know?
http://www.funcoast.com/funcam Theres where you can see if they are testing.
