Thoughts?

That there Clark is an RV.....

Sounds like Representative Brennan had a poor visit to the park recently.

Right! I mean seriously? Rides go up and down all the time. And honestly, as we always say here, if one or two rides being down would make or break someone's trip, then they shouldn't go anyway. What a joke.

Doesn't the government have better things to worry about? I mean yes, I wish they would post their ride wait times on the app when you are not in the park, or post this information, but agree what a joke!

Would be nice for notification if rides will be down for the whole day at least, which we don’t always online get but mostly do in park. Otherwise these things collectively break down probably a dozen times or more a day so that’s a lot of notifications.

Come to Florida where they're assaulting libraries, schools, and fluoride. They put the "duh" in Flori-duh!

Back a couple of years ago, went to Cedar Point in late August, the day after storms ripped through Northern Ohio.
Coming up to the Point, I checked on the website every 15 minutes to see if there was problems, only soak city was closed.
Got to the park around noon, paid parking, and went through the gates. It was eerily quiet.
The Midway was quiet, nothing was operating. The Gatekeeper and the rides nearby were were sporadically open, less than 10 attractors were operating. Walked down the Midway and from TTD to the back of the park was roped off due due to one to two feet of standing water.
The Millennium opened about 1:30 and we rode it and that’s all, and started the 75 mile back home
Called next day and found out no refunds, even with less than 10 rides operating I pleaded my case because of lack of communication Finally relented and offered tickets for the regular season which ended in less than five days , that was a no go for us They then offered daily tickets for the next season and we took it

During the off season, the merger happened Tried to use the tickets but found out they were no longer good If we had knowledge on the situation at the park, we would of not made the trip

If it was "a couple of years ago" and then "the merger happened" it was 2023. But nothing changed regarding anything ticket related in the 2023 to 2024 offseason (or 2024 to 2025 offseason for that matter), so the return tickets not being good, if that was the case, had nothing to do with the merger.

Outside of that, the main website has never had information regarding attraction availability. There are ways to get it, be it Queuetimes.com, asking on one of the many unofficial social media channels, or calling the park directly.

Knowing you were going the morning after major, atypical storms rolled through the area, it's also safe to assume that there was a chance the park was not going to be firing on all cylinders if the storms were bad enough to cause flooding and wind damage.
