On the 4th of July, my sister and I won a 4 pack for Gatekeeper, Maverick, Top Thrill, and Millennium front of the line passes. I have two questions about the passes.
First, where do we go to use them? I assume the exits for Maverick and Gatekeeper, but there are no exits in the loading station on MF or TTD.
Second, is it okay/legal to sell or buy these tickets? I wasn't planning on doing that, but I'm just curious.
Thanks in advance.
MF/TTD go up the exit more than likely they will load and secure you on unload plat. then jog up to the next platform, load the train sans your seats you occupy, then dispatch the ride.
As for selling them, doubt it, but I'm sure someone's done it already by now. I would say don't be that guy/girl

Yes, just go up the exit ramp on MF and TTD and they will seat you once the train uloads. Then you will just ride up to the loading platform and they will load the rest of the train. The people in line for your seats will just wait until the next train cycles through.
I won a tweet up on Friday afternoon and received 2 front of line passes for MF and a Johnsonville and John Deere gift bag. Pretty cool. My pic actually showed up on the blog. I just happened to be in the right place at the right time. The tweet up prizes had to be used they same day or they were forfeited. My wife ended up winning a tweet up yesterday.
As for selling them...why would you even entertain the thought? Use them and have fun.

^If you landed the puck in the center of the board on the 4th, you would win a pack with one pass for each of the four rides I listed at the top.
Also, the only reason I brought up selling them is because I live a few hours out and may not get back to the park. And our pass clearly states that they must be used by 10/27/13; the last day of operation.
As of July 25 (my last visit), it can be found at GateKeeper and Millennium Force. You pay $5 for two chips and you drop them down a big plinko game. There are two spots for front of the line passes for that particular ride on the board. If your chips don't land in the FOL passes slot, there are games and retail coupons that can be used throughout the park. If you win, you get two FOL passes.
I have actually seen a good amount of people win, more people than you would think.

Does anyone else feel like this Plinko front of the line crap is getting ridiculous? When I visited the park last Saturday, August 10th, it seemed like an absurd number of people were playing AND winning the game (the four pack more often than not, too).
As a standby guest, yielding to an unending stream of FL users is already painful enough. But now, standby guests have to yield to Plinko winners, too--of which, on a crowded day, there are an abundance.
In the station for TTD Saturday evening, every other train was arriving to the station already half filled with exit pass people. That reduces the already reduced capacity for standby guests considerably.
It stinks that CP seems so willing to sell my spot in line to anyone with cash. /rant
(PS, I'm aware this game has been around since the beginning of the season, but I've noticed a much more pronounced effect from it during my most recent visits.)

^^if I'm correct, there's only 1 or two spots that award a winner with the front-of line passes. And I believe there's 20 spaces or so for the puck to land. So at worst-case, there's a 1-in-10 chance that the person's puck lands in it.
From the park's perspective, I'm guessing the impact of offering a 10% chance of a few people getting front-of-the-line passes is far outweighed by $5 for every chance people take on the game.
