Ride photo situation

This is my first post here. Hello. I went to the point the night of the 24th and all day the 25th. Had a wonderful time! My fiancee and I rode TTD miday the 25th. We had about a 3 1/2 hour wait due to 2 breakdowns. After the ride ended, the wait time was a distant memory. Well worth it like eveyone else has been saying!

Anyway, we had seen other peoples on ride photos all morning and were excited to get our own. When we got to the photo place, the photo people said there was no picture taken of our entire train. Needless to say, we were bummed. It almost seemed to ruin the entire ride, but I tried not to let it.

I decided to go the the park operations office and tell them what occured. I wasnt looking for any componsation. We were just bummed because we drove 10 hours one way to come to Cedar Point. The guy thought a couple minutes about the situation and told us that unfortuantly, the TTD exit would not except anyone for a ride. He said the only way for us to get a picture, was to wait in the line again. He said after we waited in line and got our picture, he would get us on the exit for every ride for the rest of the day. I didnt think that was fair for everyone else that was waiting in line for the other rides. I would feel like a heel cutting in front of everyone the rest of the day because of something that happened on TTD. We left with a bad feeling...

So... That night, we decided to ride TTD once more. We wanted a picture! We waited only 2 hours that time with no break downs. That was a lot better than the 3 1/2 earlier. Anyway, as we were waiting in the station, we seen a line of about 10 or more people waiting at the exit ramp waiting to get seated. About every train, a couple people were loaded in the middle of the train by the exit ramp. We were upset. Why did the park operations tell us that TTD excepted NO ONE on the exit ramp, yet there was a line of people getting on! The people were not disabled or on crutches or wheelchairs. Im just curious why the operations office lied to us. It put a sour taste in our mouths for sure.

We did have a great time and will come back. Cedar point is the best. Most of the operators were awesome. A few (raptor freeway pass dude) need more training with customer relations. Sorry if I posted in the wrong place. Like I said, this is my 1st post. Thanks!

You could have seen parents with small kids using their "parent swap" privileges. Perhaps they were not allowing people in the exit for "operational" types of issues. When I was there last week some parents with kids were able to enter TTD through the exit, but only after one of the parents waited in line.
Park op has "ride again passes" for situations like this, however this year's pass does not include TTD. That is the pass that the gentleman at Park Op would have given you. The people at the exit could have been VIP's, Parents, or people with disabilities that are not detectable such as social anxiety disorder which would prevent them from waiting in the line. These people do wait their turn however. They go to the entrance of the ride and are issued a time to return. they cannot have any other times issued until they have ridden that ride. Fear not, Park op didn't try to mislead you in any way. It's just that the ride again passes are not good for TTD.

ONE freeway stamp a day... ONE

Is there a chance you did not see the wheel chairs sitting at the exit gate that where we left mine when I went to ride it this past weekend. In order to ride TTD I had to wait the 3 hours just like you did. Just not standing in line.
To answer your question, there was no wheelchairs. Just a line of people standing there. They looked like mostly teenagers and a couple people in the mid 30's/40's.

I have no issue with that at all. I understand some of the situations that were explained to me. I just thought the wording used by the park operations was maybe wrong. He said no one was allowed up the exit on TTD. I took what he said as the truth. I just found it misleading to see all these people getting on the trains from the exit ramp after I was told that.

Anyway, I have no hard feelings and am not upset. I rode that last time and got my picture I wanted. I thought I did it the best way as to not take his offer to ride all the other rides in the park with no wait the rest of the day. I didnt find that fair to anyone else.

That never happened to me, but I do have a beef with the pictures on TTD. If you sit on the left side in the first row of a car(normally the best seat), you don't even turn out in the pitcture in either of the two pics they take. That made me angry when I was so excited to show everyone the picture, and I didn't even come out in them. I don't know what they could do, but I'm sure I'm not the first person this has happened to.

LeWiS, did you ask about your photo, or did you merely look on the monitor and see that you didn't appear?

Over the counter there is a sign indicating that the photo sellers can apparently make some adjustments in the image. I don't know exactly what that means, though...

I think it means they can just play around with the image some... move the view around, center the person more... probably even take your riding partner out of the picture if you so desired. They take pictures of the entire train, just only have enough monitors to display some of the pictures... At least, thats what I would assume
I've seen posts who tried to get it adjusted and it still wouldn't show both people.

Yeah, for some reason, the frame must not be adjusted for both seats, every photo I've seen has cut off the person on the left, minus the front seats. Perhaps if they could move the smaller pic taken on the brake run to the left side, it could work, unless this option is available already..

My picture actually came out allright. They had to adjust it to get both of us centered. Im sitting in the very back. It looks like Im trying passing a kidney stone or something.
