Ride Photo Building

In the ground cam you can see a wall close to the ID. I was wondering if this could be some kind of building to house the ride photos?? Any Ideas....

All Hands On Deck ;)

And just why would they start building the building for ride photos so early before they finish the ride.

And why start a topic on this. This doesnt really need to be discussed since its not a ride photo building.

I noticed that wall but I think that it is far to short and close to the ground to start debating what it is for. So I think that we should just wait and see
And how do you know it's not, Big D?

You know, i would wish that people like Big D, would stop putting other people down just cause of the questions they ask, so just stop being idiot, jerks and simply give them a polite response!

Seriously. If people don't post new topics, all you'll have is a really long list of posts that consist of "They added a new piece to the tower." Stop putting people down for asking questions and making guesses. It makes the anticipation and interest in the new ride grow. And since I can already sense the replies of "shutup" and "why should I listen to a guy with only 2 posts?" I'm just going to save energy and not check this thread any longer.
Sometimes those kind of posts are warranted, but I really don't see the need to in this case. His question was perfectly valid. It's better than coming up with a topic on the maximum possible volume of human waste that can be held in the Port-a-Potty. :)

I doubt this is for a On-ride photo building, but you never know...it just might be. It looks more like the beginnings of an unloading station to me. I would think that the Hot Shots booth would be more visible from the midway, rather than being tucked back that far out of clear view.

Concerning the building of the photo booth construction...I believe that it was just a couple weeks or less before opening that they built the one for MF.

Yea...but why would they put it so close to the brake track or even lining up with the brake run. Just doesnt seem possible. I mean they just possibly started building the station. Why would they start putting up a building for ride photos so soon. I'm just using a little common sense. Although i could be wrong. I just doesnt seem possible.

Edit- Yea, CP_Bound...i acctually thought of that. It could possibly be an unloading station. Now that is what its most likely for. Since it does line up with the brake run.

Can't believe I just read through a whole topic debating whether or not "the wall" is for on-ride photos and how people should stop being so mean to each other. I think I need a life and all of you do too.

There are a few facts in life that will ALWAYS remain true...among those facts:
1. There will always be stupid people.
2. There will always be mean/angry people.
3. You can't do anything about either one...so get over it (and if you think you can, you're a sucker).

The face of a child can say it all....especially the mouth part of the face.

Well just my two cents on this wall. if we think about this being the end of the brake run, a train may have to stop here before it can go into the station, like the other coasters in the park. maybe this wall could be a barrier between this ride and the ID so if people in a train had to stop here, it would prevent them from throwing anything to a passing ID train. I don't know, just my thought.

If your not having fun, what are you having?

While anything is possible, that seems highly unlikely to me. I think if CP thought that was an issue they would have already put up a wall in other places. For example the Mantis queue line stairs are in close proximity to where ID goes by and it isn't an issue there.

I was trying to think of any equipment they may need to house over in that area but it seems as though everything that would need a building will be on the launch side.

So I'm going to have to agree in thinking that it's for an unloading station as it seems to intersect the brake line. Although it's kinda hard to tell on the archived web cam photo right now

Walls?...Nah, Come on this is CP...All they can come up with to solve this problem is to put a plain looking cement wall.

My money is on the unloading station.

I know this is kind of off topic but what are the green pipes in the web cam for? Here

Omygosh, it's leaning!

Supports for a second mystery coaster.

(Locking flame shields in the up position to guard against the inevitable poster who fails to appreciate sarcasm.)

I asked my mom and she said that they're supports for Wicked Twister!

Yeah, I tried calling the park today to ask about them. They looked at the webcam image on their PC and immediately responded, "Looks like the Wicked Twister parts arrived..." She was very detailed when notifying me that she personally was reconstructing the two towers with new supports and the new 5 rail track, stronger than the 4, 3, and 2 rail track. Very nice individual. :o)

If this is true then why did they put them in the middle of the "Dragster" construction.

I'm assuming they are keeping the supports in Area 51 for the time being because of the near loss of some Wicked Twister track in late January. It was almost eaten by lake Erie, as seen here: http://www.cedarpoint.com/_upload/images/wt_pics/constpics/WT87-copy.jpg
Assuming in this case is perfect because it is making an "ass" out of "u," however, leave Ming alone!...he's just here as a foreign exchange student.
