ride marathons

just curious...
when reading the posts about "gemini 100" "demon drop 20", etc, you guys say how much it hurts after awhile.
I have never done ANY conseutive rides... What rides are the worst and best, and what's the worst pain you were in? Is it all-over body aches or just back pain, or is it legs...
(just in case I decide to do something like that one day.. :)
I'd say that you could walk away from a SkyRide marathon fairly unscathed.

LOL! Just ask Dan about marathoning on Magnum and Gemini...you definitely want to hang on to the bar if you don't want to be hurting after 50 rides.
Just doing Shivering Timbers ten times in a day can become very painful after a while. If you drain yourself through screaming, and putting your hands up, it gets hard to last longer. Man, doing a Marathon on Magum could become very nasty after a while. Gemini would be a tad more tolerable, I assume.
I know I'm tall, and yet I frequently forget to duck my head as I get out of a Sky Ride cabin...Duck, Stupid! Hey Duane, count me out for the Sky Ride 150!

Alot depends on where you sit in the train. Magnum, for example, is easier to ride in back. On mornings when I'm really tired,I ride toward the back. It's more relaxing and the airtime isn't as extreme as front. Imagine marathoning the ejector seat?!

I rode Magnum 20 times in the ejector seat in one day(55 laps total that day, on CoasterMania this year)lets just say my legs were hurting for about a week...
