Ride investments

I think it would be cool if Cedar Point would post the modern day equivelance of the investments of their coasters, keeping the old one too-that's just as nice. Does anyone know how much these would be worth now?

Trim brakes-a necessity???
The Gemini was built in 78 for 3.4 million. Today that is about $8,649,600. How do I know this? My dog told me and they have a neat calculator at http://www.smart.net/~kaz/inflation.html that is beter than the mine ride.It figures out inflation.

Geauga Lake, Er or Six Fags Sohio or whatever its called now can go to Japan.
O.K. I have no life outside of Cedar Point because I am calculating this stuff instead of partying at college. This was more fun than getting drunk at any party anyway. I use a different way to calculate these numbers through the Consumer Price Index. Ufortunainlalty, Any coaster Cedar Point Built Prior to 1976 was apparently bought by the Yen, or perhaps the Russian Ruble because nowhere are these stats to be found. I am not good enough to convert yen in 1964 to the $ now. I hope this is what you wanted.

HERE IT IS

As of 2000
What these rides cost now

2000- MF- 25 Million (Duh?)
1994- Raptor- 13.3 Million
1996- Mantis- 13.2 Million
1989- Magnum-11 million
1990-Disaster Transport- 9.7 Million (est. both AR and DT)
1991- Mean Streak- 9.5 million
1978- Gemini- 9 million
1987- Iron Dragon 6.1 million
1976- Dorkscrew - 5.3 million
(No I did not miss the C in Cork)

These are obobsly not 100% accurate, but I think they are close. The saddest thing I see is Disaster Transport. They could have built a Mean Streak without Trim Brakes for that cost. I anyone finds anything interesting with these stats, Yell. But not in my ear.
