I am working on a report and I need some information. Who designed/built it, what year it was built, how many cars run on that ride(if that ride has cars), and anything else you can tell me about that ride. I just need info on the following rides:
Matterhorn
Schwabinchen
Calypso
Ocean Motion
Scrambler
Peanuts Railroad
Matterhorn
Dodgem 2
Turnpike Cars
Ocean Motion
Cadillac Cars
Super Himalaya
Troika
Chaos
Peanuts Railroad
Wave Swinger
Swan Boats
Antique Cars
Witch's Wheel
Monster
Thanks for your help.
Check the links section for designers/builders. Go to Cedar Point's homepage for years when they were built.
The links section doesn't say what ride was built by what company. It just says what types of the rides the company makes.
Here are some of the manufacturers:
Arrow Development: Turnpike, Cadillac Cars, Antique Autos.
Chance: Chaos
Mack: Matterhorn, Super Himalaya, Schwabinchen
Intamin: Calypso (is a Schwarzkopf design), and I believe Wave Swinger (if not, then Zierer)
Huss: Ocean Motion, Witches Wheel, Troika
Eli Bridge: Scrambler
I know that Huss and Mack still have these rides advertised on their web pages.
Hope this helps you get started on your research.

I think this link will help you best on your question...
www.rcdb.com (for coasters) And as silly as this may sound..if you go to
www.askgeeves.com and type in your question...it gives you good links to those answers..you may have to search around though..hope I was of some help!
Okay, pencils ready...I'm using Lynx so I can't format this into a list (hey, I'm at home this morning after getting a tooth filled):
(Correction...I'm editing the list with Netscape)
MATTERHORN: Mack, 20 cars.
SCHWABINCHEN: Mack, 20 seats.
CALYPSO: Mack, 16 cars.
OCEAN MOTION: Huss "Pirat", installed 1981.
SCRAMBLER: Eli Bridge Co.
PEANUTS RAILROAD: I haven't a clue.
DODGEM 2: Either Soli or Jhle Bros. I forget which is which.
TURNPIKE CARS: Arrow Development Corp. "Sports Cars".
SUPER HIMALAYA: Mack, 20 seats, "Himalaya".
TROIKA: Huss. 21 cars.
CHAOS: Chance.
WAVE SWINGER: Zierer, 1979, I think. 48 seats, I think.
SWAN BOATS: Amitelli Products.
ANTIQUE CARS: Arrow Development Corp.
WITCHES WHEEL: Huss "Enterprise", 20 single tubs.
MONSTER: Eyerly Aircraft Co., 24 tubs
In each case, except for the bumper cars, the ride has the manufacturer's name unless noted otherwise.
