ride construction FAIL

I heard someone talking about some sort of ride that was under construction a number of years ago at CP that fell over or something?

Is this true?

I looked on Google for an article or something but I couldn't find anything.

I think you mean Vertigo. It was completed and then fell over during the off season.

Vertigo is most likely what you are thinking of if it was at CP, and it was long after construction. Also, I believe part of Son of Beast's lifthill collapsed during its construction at Kings Island.

Yeah I think that is what led to the rumor that the loop itself fell over on SOB. In fact, I heard that rumor often after it actually opened. They must not have tied it down very well....;)

I believe that during construction, one end of Wicked Twister suffered a fate as you describe ....

No, the dolphins died from the abundance of cheetos in their diet!

Son of Beast's lift collapsed because of a front line wind storm that hit the park. Atleast thats what I read at KIC a few years back.
