Looked under search and didn't see anything that answered my question directly. So point me in the right direction..
There is disagreement in my house about the ride and slide tickets. We are going to CP August 13-16th. We plan on getting the starlight tickets for the 13th, and the Ride and Slide for the 14th and 15th. We want to go to the main park both days, and go to the water park if its too hot, but my mom swears that you can only go to the park one day and the water park the next day. I say, no, you can go to both the water park and park on both days. The Ride and Slide consists of four tickets, correct? This way you can visit the park and water park both days? Who is correct here? Thanks all...
You can go back and forth between each as many times as you want between both areas of the peninsula both days of the ticket, from what I understand of it.
As long as you get your hand/wrist stamped at each place it should be no problem. Tell your Mom she is wrong. Moms love that. :)

With the Ride and Slide tickets, you will get 4 tickets. Day one CP, day one Soak City, day two CP, day two Soak City. Day one CP and day one Soak City must be used on the same day, otherwise the unused ticket becomes invalid. Same thing with day two. If you only use your CP ticket on day one, the day one Soak City ticket will be invalid, but both of your day two tickets will still work. Hope that makes sense.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
Umm, I'll just simplify that.
You get four tickets. Day 1 Cedar Point, Day 1 Soak City, Day 2 Cedar Point, Day 2 Soak City.
You can get into each park both days, with unlimited access. [Via a hand stamp before exiting]
If you don't use one of the tickets, then it expires. [Unless you want to use it later on, then you pay a surcharge]

The tickets cannot be used on the same day. ie: You may not use both Cedar Point tickets on the same day. Only both Day Ones on the same day, and both Day Twos on the same day.

Are these tickets tied to a person in any way? Say for instance, with a fingerprint like at Disney?
If not, could I theoretically give my Soak City pass to a friend who's not attending CP with us that day because they don't ride rides? So, I go into CP and they go into Soak City, both on the same day at the same time?
Theoretically, however, that would just be stupid and ruining the whole reason for the Ride and Slide.
Well, the reason I asked is that my friend and I are going for two days. So, we thought we would get the ride and slide - even though we have no intention of going to Soak City. And, two of our other friends are coming for one day, and buying a single day funday passes. But, those two people don't ride that many rides. So, they were thinking about going to Soak City for a couple hours. If we all already bought CP tickets, I didn't see the harm in giving two of our Soak City passes to the other two people. We're buying 12 CP passes and have two lighthouse point cabins already, so its not like we're trying to screw CP out of any money. Just trying to use the soak city passes.
As a side note, do hotel guests get a discounted Ride and Slide? Is it cheaper to just buy two discounted park passes at the front desk, or buy the ride and slide? I didn't know if I could get cheaper ride and slides at the desk or not.
Thanks all... I'll be sure to inform mom she is wrong ;-) haha... She isn't even going, as it's just my cousin, brother, girlfriend, and myself, so I'm not sure why she was so sure I was wrong and stuck on it; she's not even the one doing the planning. But thanks for answering again, since the description on cp.com was fairly undescriptive and really didn't answer much.
How about parking...
I would like to park by Soak City if possible.

There is no discount on ride and slide tickets at the hotel front desk. I just stayed at Breakers last Thursday night so I know that fact for sure. The tickets are not tied to you via a fingerprint or anything like that. Someone actually sold us his day 2 slide tickets for $5 each in challenge park. He said he was just going to CP that day so the tickets were going to be a waste. We probably were not going to go to Soak City until we ran into him. Don't worry about us ripping off the park, we ran up a $150 bar tab at the swim-up bar!
As for parking, I'm pretty sure when you pay to park if you tell the parking attendant that you are going to Soak City they will direct you to take perimiter road and park in the Soak City/Challenge Park lot.
I believe you still have to pay the $9 parking. Only hotel guests get this reimbursed upon check-in.
Doesn't Meijer have discounted R&S tickets? Last I checked they have single admission and season pass tickets, and IIRC they do have R&S at a reduced rate, exactly what I am unsure of at the moment.

Thanks, that's what I figured. Just making sure things didn't change.

Ride and Slide tickets are already such a good deal... why does there need to be another discount on top of the $71 you're already saving?
