I know there's only a few people that come to this sight that work at Geauga Lake. Last summer went pretty much the way I thought it would. Needless to say, i'll be returning to Geauga Lake for this coming season. I'm very excited for it to get here. Now that the park has a taste of what Cedar Fair wants it'll go a little bit smoother hopefully this year.

I plan on visiting GL for the first time this year. I am excited to be visiting a new park. Sadly, I've only been to PKI and CP. Would anyone recommend a place to stay at or around GL. I will probably combine this with a trip to CP. Or, maybe I should just do GL in a day and then drive over to CP that night. Thoughts?
GL's website has a list of preferred hotels. Also there is the park owned hotel and campgrounds you could stay at. Best idea would be to check out the parks offcial website.

If you're just looking for a place to sleep for the night then stick with the hotels in or near to Solon and the 271 corridor. I would reccomend heading into town or another part of the area with a little more interest and life to it (like downtown or one of the other interesting neighborhoods). But for many that would be a little to far on the adventurous side.
