Restraints??

I was just wondering what kind of restraints will be on M.F??? Is there going to be seat belts? What kind of things to hold on to? I just was wondering what is going to keep you inside the cars????

Individual, infinitely-adjustable lap bars and some form of safety strap. It is unclear at this time whether the strap in question will be a seat belt (ref. Magnum, etc.) or a lap bar safety (ref. Raptor, Mantis). The lap bar is T-shaped, coming up from the floor between your legs and extending across your lap; the lap bar is equipped with a grab handle, and handholds can be found on the rigid surface in front of you, and possibly also on the sides of the seat. Of course, none of us coaster nuts will need the grab bars, right? :) --Dave Althoff, Jr.

There are brackets on the sides of the seats that appear to be for belts, but I couldn't tell you if they attach to the lap bar either. But like Vince said, I think it's safe to assume we'll get hooked up with the usual belts!

i was wondering if the restraints are going to be similiar to the ones used for MAGNUM , cause i found those very uncomfortable

i heard they would be like the restrains on magnum. i kinda like the restraints on magnum...they dont get in the way that much and u still get air time if the bar is up a little bit above your leg...and the seatbelt isnt super tight

There is no mystery about what the restraints will be like (nothing like Magnum's)... they're the same as those found on Darien Lake's Superman: Ride of Steel. They also put photos of one on the official site. The only question is how the seat belts will fasten.
