Replying or Quoting posts

campfreak06

I just tried to reply and quote two separate posts. I wanted to do this in one post of my own, but it wouldn't let me. I've seen others do this, and I'm curious as to how it is done.

What am I doing wrong?

Hit quote on the first post. Trim to include only that statement which you are specifically replying to. Select all the text and copy (ctl+c).

Hit quote on the second post. Again, trim to include only that statement which you are replying to. After the [ /quote ] tag, paste the text from the first post into that edit box. Add your own text as a reply.

Click Submit Reply.

And remember, don't quote the previous post. We all just read it, no need to see it again.

If it's a long post and you want to highlight a particular line, it's ok. But, otherwise... what Jugga said.
