Removal over next 6 years
I, a past CP employee, have information on some rides that have a strong possibility of being removed over the next 6 years. First off, Disaster Transport's Line population is decreasing every year, so that will be probably removed and replaced with something more entertaining. There are some really neat plans for the Oceana Midway, and the Shwabinchen and Ocean Motion only block those plans, so out of there for them. Once the Oceana Midway project is done, filler rides may be added, We'll see!
If your birthday is 10-2-1987 as you have listed in your profile, meaning you are only 13, then how can you have been a Cedar Point employee as they don't hire until you are at least 14?
Everyone always has their thoughts on what will go and what will not, only CP knows for certain until they choose to announce it.

If you were an employee(unless you worked in foods) you should know that a coaster as old as disaster will have low popularity, especially since it is a bobsled like track. Alot of people do not know the track style and that is why people do not like it. Since it does not have a track it can not do things that a coaster w/a track can. Cedar Point will not be getting rid of it anytime soon. Agree Crystal?

DT may have low attendance because DT has low capacity. Gemini always had the best, but that is not the main reason people are coming to the park these days. I think every coaster will decrease in polarity because as new ones are built, people ride them and thin out the lines in the others(corkscrew comes to mind). The most I have waited for the magnum this year was 45 minutes. Last year it was 90 minutes, easy. Dose that mean the Magnum should go? I am not of fan of DT, but ganking it would be a crime. What they should to is un-theme the ride, and turn it back into a real bobsled. People are so dumb they may think it is a new ride! (stupid comment)

My apologies for the confusion with the profile, there's no way to tell.
Definately CPGONEDISNEY -- how many times were we thrilling the younger and less bold riders at closing when they kept running around and around to go on again? Another reason Disaster has a lower total is because of the down time associated with storms and rain. Other coasters, once the rain has stopped and the storm has passed, open up within 30 or so minutes. Disaster, on the other hand, will get water in the trough (from vents) that makes it too dangerous to run and since it is in the building, it takes FOREVER to dry (Unless we want to swab it out with rags, right CPGD? *Grin*), therefore, no riders!

First, Cedar Point better not get rid of DT, where else will I go on a hot day. Like I said before there are not too many bob-slede coasters. I think Cedar Point will take the building away before it trashes the complete ride. I like DT, its fun and thats what I go to CP for, to have fun. But I have to agree, if Cedar Point was to get rid of a coaster it will be DT.

I don't think the world would end if CP tore down DT. If they did, I'm sure something killer would replace it.
How about a Real Big Blow Dryer or you can put a squeegie on the front of the shuttle right Crystal!!Ha Ha. Belive it or not alot of people come to CP to ride DT. Like Crystal said, the young children and those to scared to ride the bigger rides LOVE DT!
